VERY AGGRESSIVE CALLED ME NAMES AND WAS SWEARING AT ME AFTER I REJECTED THE CAR. GETTING UP IN MY FACE. Bought a skoda from them took it to an AA approved garage said there was oil leak and failing wheel bearing Headlights were full of condensation probably after cleaning the engine bay as it was fully washed. Undersealed everything underneath the car so can't actually see how corroded not corroded the car is.Tried rejecting the car. Didn't give me all the money back. £500 less.Friendly when selling car but as soon as somethings wrong hes very aggressive.Made me stressed and scared.

The company is rally friendly and honest but I bought a Jeep Cherokee from them at the end of August last year. Unfortunately the car has been in and out of my garage lots of times for an ongoing problem which Basford Motors had checked just after the purchase and gave it the all clear, it has at present cost me £1000 and the faults still have not been rectified, after avisit to the Jeep dealer at Knutsfod they reckon the cost to put the car in good order would be approx another £2 to 3 thousand pounds as it looks like it needs a new pto for the gearbox as it drops out of 4 wheel drive also there is a problem with the MAF sensor they tink it could also be the ECU. As it is now out of warranty I am going to be spending a lot of money to have my car completely road worthy. I do not blame Basford Motors and I do not want to keep complaining to them.

Please don’t buy from this seller After a week the sensors stopped working WithinAfter a month the exhaust and headlights all went Found out lights were hanging on by cable ties After 2 months the engine went Reputable garages have said they don’t believe the MOT is legit because all the other problems have not been stated on MOT, pictures were taken of apparent service history, we never received these and when questioned about it we was told no paperwork- the service history paperwork did not belong to the car
